Hong Kong Day 1: Tsim Sha Tsui, Avenue of Stars, Victoria Harbour (尖沙嘴,星光大道,维多利亚港)

Bought the ticket to Hong Kong a looong time ago during Air Asia promo sales.
Finally went on the long awaited journey this mid October.

Following the advice of our hostel owner,
we took the airport bus A21 (HKD 33/ person) to our hostel at Tsim Sha Tsui (尖沙嘴).

Moving along the happening Nathan Road (弥敦道),
we got an introduction glimpse to Hong Kong.

Double-decker bus, colourful neon lights,
queues at the many bus stops and crowds of fashionable people.

By the time we settled down at our hostel it was way past dinner time.
Locating the closest place to eat
we decided to try out Leng Leng cart noodle (靓靓车仔面) at Lock Road.

It's an a la carte, economical noodle where you get to customize everything,
from noodle to toppings/ ingredients.
The mushroom and chicken wing was very flavourful though I couldn't get use to the fish balls.
It tasted really different from the ones we have in Malaysia. Each bowl costs us HKD 40.

Warm and happy from our meal, we went strolling down the Avenue of stars (星光大道).
Apart from tourists and people just hanging around,
we spotted a few joggers too even though it's late at night.

A tourists must-do, comparing hand prints. haha :p
This one is Jet Li's handprint.
Surprised to find it's actually quite small.

The beautiful night view across Victoria Harbour (维多利亚港).
