Fraser Hill 自由呼吸

趁着假日来个小旅行。

因为天气炎热，决定去还没到过的 Fraser Hill 凉快凉快一下。

Took a short getaway to Fraser Hill to avoid the hot hot weather.

没有计划行程， 一路随性地停停走走。

第一站，
去吃朋友介绍的美罗鸭腿面。

面的口感很好， 让原本不饿的我胃口大开。
单单面配着汤汁都能干掉很多碗。

We didn't have anything plan out for this trip, so everything was just spontaneous.
Stopped by Bidor to try out the famous duck noodle a friend recommended.
The noodle is so good that I can finish bowls of it just by itself.

对街老店衬着很蓝很蓝的天。

吃饱喝足了继续旅程。
经过 Sungai Selangor Dam 又下车走走看看。
整个水坝除了在树下午睡的警卫之外完全无人， 很宁静舒服。

Our next stop was the Sungai Selangor Dam.
The weather was so fine that we couldn't resist to go down and take a stroll around the dam.

We were the only ones there besides a guard dozing off under a tree.
The atmosphere is pure serene, perfect for a picnic if only we have food with us. :p

难得碰上好天气， 欣赏 Sungai Selangor Dam 的湖光山色


往前开一段，经过 Chilling river waterfall。
又多了一个可以拜访的景点啦！

Noticed the Chilling river waterfall sign after driving a bit further.
Added to my list of places to visit!

开过上山最后一段的单行道后， 终于到达 Fraser Hill 了。
最先映入眼帘的是 Fraser 的代表性建筑物 - 钟楼。

The final path up Fraser Hill is a one way drive uphill.
We knew we've reach as soon as the Fraser Hill clock tower appear on sight.

入住 Puncak Inn， 双人房一晚 RM120。 

房间干净舒服， 就是小了一点。

Checked into our room at Puncak Inn.

It's pretty small for a double room costing RM120 per night. 

Nevertheless clean and comfortable.

放下行李后， 第一件事就是往外跑， 然后狂拍。

Went out and snap away as soon as I drop off my luggage. 

Love the colonial buildings amongst greeneries.

经 J 一说才知道这个石碑代表两个州的边界线

山上的 condo 远看像城堡

好奇山上温度， 结果显示坏了。 -43度嘞

鸟类资讯馆。 没开...
后来发现好多景点都很早就关门了。

高尔夫球场

到 Ye Olde Smokehouse 吃下午茶。

我们选择了户外座位， 面向花园环境很好。

Had tea at Ye Olde Smokehouse.

We loved the outdoor seat very much

where we get to enjoy the garden view and listen to birds chirping away among the trees.

双人的下午茶套餐。

觉得除了scones 以外的茶点都普普通通而已。

To my disappointment the teatime set was just average.
Luckily the scones and tea made up for it.

另一个景点 Allan's Water。
因为是星期五， 4.30pm 已经关闭了。
只能说到Fraser Hill 要注意营业时间， 要不然就放轻松什么都不做也挺好的。 :D

The recreational park Allan's water was closed by the time we reached.
Besides Saturday and public holiday the place is only open until 4.30pm.

相比云顶和金马伦， 这里游客较少， 所以昆虫鸟兽很多。

随拍些花草

Fraser Hill is less populated compared to Genting and Cameron. 

So we were able to spot many insects, birds and small creatures around.

到冷冷的地方最过瘾的就是吃热辣辣的火锅。

晚餐是 J 特制的户外火锅。

两个人在公园里找地点， 装煤气炉， 煮汤底， 忙个没完。

结果三两下就吃光了。

虽然麻烦， 可是过程很开心。

Steamboat is a MUST HAVE while travelling to places with cooler climates.

Dinner is what me and J looked forward to most - DIY steamboat!

It took us some time to find the perfect spot, set up stove and everything. 

Then we gobbled everything up.

The process was fun and I missed the tomyam steamboat, ALOT!!~

冷天里的东炎火锅， 想到就要流口水！

吃得暖暖的在户外散步， 体验什么都不做的幸福。

After meal we just stroll around the town talking about random stuff from time to time.
Sometimes not doing anything is the best thing to do.
